Since 1987, BECEP has specialised in the marketing of rupture discs for pressurised industrial installations (aerospace, chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, nuclear, energy). In partnership with ZOOK, a renowned North American manufacturer, we import and distribute metal and graphite rupture discs in France, certified in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive. RA Series Rupture Discs
The RA (Reverse Acting) Series offers one unique holder design for use with multiple types of ZOOK Reverse-Acting metal rupture disks. Features : - Operating ratios up to 95% of the low end of burst tolerance - Disk design offers high cycle life - Suitable for liquid, gas, or two-phase applications - Standard manufacturing design range and total tolerance ensures marked rating on disk tag does not exceed the MAWP of equipment - Withstands full vacuum without vacuum support - Wide range of standard and exotic materials available - Sizes from 1" (25mm) through 12" (300mm) - Unique alignment pin design ensures proper disk orientation into RAH Series disk holder - 3-dimensional stainless steel tag permanently attached and engraved with complete disk specifications
SFAZ Forward Acting Rupture Disc
The SFAZ is a tension-loaded, flat-seat rupture disc, featuring cross scoring on its dome, allowing the disc to open fully into four petals and thereby preventing any form of fragmentation. This scoring is present only on the outlet side of the disc, leaving the process side perfectly smooth. It is therefore specially designed to prevent material build-up, offering improved resistance to corrosion. This high-performance rupture disc, available in a wide range of materials, is perfectly suited to polymerising media. The SFAZ is designed to be installed in the UHZ Insert mounting hardware. Technical characteristics: – Non-fragmenting design – 90% operating ratio – Suitable for liquid, gas or two-phase applications – Excellent service life in high-cycle applications – Withstands full vacuum without the need for a vacuum support – Suitable for burst pressures ranging from 1 barG to 248 barG – Diameter: 13 mm to 610 mm (1/2″ to 24″) – ASME, CE (PED) and TÜV certification available
