SFAZ Forward Acting Rupture Disc

The SFAZ is a tension-loaded, flat-seat rupture disc, featuring cross scoring on its dome, allowing the disc to open fully into four petals and thereby preventing any form of fragmentation. This scoring is present only on the outlet side of the disc, leaving the process side perfectly smooth. It is therefore specially designed to prevent material build-up, offering improved resistance to corrosion. This high-performance rupture disc, available in a wide range of materials, is perfectly suited to polymerising media.

The SFAZ is designed to be installed in the UHZ Insert mounting hardware.
